The manager, George, and his team, make this location the best of Best Western. They take the best care of their guests and are always at their best. The recent upgrades to the property now reflect their high standards.
We stayed the weekend of 9/5/25. This place was very clean, cold a/c in the rooms and great breakfast. The parking lot was very well lit at night. Overall I would recommend for the price and I would stay here again. Staff was also very friendly.
Honestly one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed in. The walls are literally paper thin but the room was clean and did not smell at all. The water pressure in the shower is actually really good, the bed was comfortable and the heat/cooling works very well with a wall thermostat. The breakfast was really good too. Location is outside of downtown and has a decent amount of things within walking distance. My fiancée and I stayed just 1 night before leaving for our cruise but if we were in the Tampa area I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!
Needed a hotel close to the convention center but didn't break the bank. It was fairly priced, close by, clean and easy check in/out. Breakfast was good and the room was very clean. I'd go back for sure.
Another Great visit with one of Tampa's hidden gems . Two nights of quiet, clean and enjoyable stay in South Tampa. That was my experience ( 9/10 + 9/11 ) while visiting my friends in Tampa. Very nice spacious room, with a full breakfast from pancakes, eggs, bagels , toast and a variety of cereals, O.J. and 24 hour coffee, not to mention close to downtown. All that and at a price that tops the stay. Day and night staff always friendly and do not hesitate when you ask for extra towels. Manager George Casanova knows how to provide exceptional hospitality to each and every guest seven days a week. My Top recommendation if you are visiting downtown or MacDill AFB or anywhere in Tampa. Great service, easy to check in and out, the rooms were clean and well maintained, I was skeptical due to the reviews but everything was great! They also have complimentary continental breakfast which was delicious and great options (coffee, juices, fruits, bread, muffins, bagels eggs, fruit cups, yogurt, sausage, waffles, etc), plus plenty of space to sit. Overall great experience!
George was phenomenal. No question about his hospitality and customer service upon my entering the hotel. Quiet, didn't see any issues pertaining concerns. Anytime I am back in Tampa, this will be my go-to hotel.
